One of those tell-all memes
Okay, so I wasn't tagged, I volunteered
...story of my life.
NAME: oh, the stuff of legend
NICKNAMES: Hey You, Her Royal Majesty
BIRTHDAY: March 28
WHICH MAKES ME A(n): Aries
GENDER: Female
RACE: 'American,' would be an easy answer, but it's more of an excuse or catch-all than a category. Czech, Welsh. Purportedly some Native American if you squint.
NATIONALITY: American.
RELIGION: Theistic
SEXUALITY: Latent
DATING: [snorggle]
BORN: Seattle, Washington
WHERE: We got rained on a lot and could hear the zoo animals from our house
ALSO RAISED (to age 18): Kansas City, Kansas
WHERE: "Kansas: As Big[oted] as you think." Also with weather that makes you wonder if the pioneers ever wondered why the government was giving the land away for free
LOCATION IN A FEW MONTHS: Istanbul, Turkey
WHERE: I will live for a year as an exchange student.
PRIMARY SCHOOL: Public
HIGH SCHOOL: Public
COLLEGE, WHICH IS NOT ACTUALLY UNIVERSITY BUT THE LAST TWO YEARS OF HIGH SCHOOL, THANK YOU: International Baccalaureate program at the same high school
UNIVERSITY: University of Tulsa in fall of '09
DEGREE: Um. Ask me in a year
HOWEVER: Possibly Arts Management (THERE IS AN INTERNSHIP IN LONDON) or anthropology/sociology
TRADITIONAL ART: Can occasionally draw and paint, but in more of a representational manner than true-to-life.
MUSIC: Something like seven years of piano, badly
DANCE: ...they made us square dance once in grade school...?
PHOTO: I have too many camera-wielding friends to be good at photography
TRAVEL: Hellzyes.
EUROPE: nada
NORTH AMERICA: USA (most of it, barring the eastern seaboard), Canada
ASIA-PACIFIC REGION: New Zealand
LANGUAGES: Latin
KIND OF OKAY AT READING BUT NOT PROFICIENT IN ANY SENSE: Latin (Virgil, Horace)
CRAP: Latin (Catullus)
CLASSES THIS SEMESTER: Calculus 2, English, Latin 4 , Twentieth Century World History, Dramatic Literature Independent Study, Advanced Repertory Theater
THINGS I ALWAYS BUY IF I SEE THEM AND I DON'T KNOW WHY BUT I CAN'T HELP MYSELF: Used books with interesting covers, mango-scented soaps, red bean icecream, impractical shoes
QUESTIONS: Are very welcome!
